Hi everyone! Today I have a trio of shades to share from Morgan Taylor. They provided me with these gorgeous metallics to try out. First up is Metalling Around, a dark chrome, then I have Fame Game- a nice silver, and finally Adorned in Diamonds, a rose gold sheer polish. All of these polishes had really nice application, and only required 2 coats- with the exception of Adorned in Diamonds. For that polish, I started with a base of Essie Ballet Slippers then added 3 coats of Adorned in Diamonds for the pearl look.
Hi everyone! Today I have a great review for you. I received three awesome colors from Venique and this is my first review of that brand. The bottle is really nice, and the application is great. Up To My Knees is a nice rose gold shade. I only used two coats since it was so opaque. I am a sucker for metallics so you'll probably see this one popping up again soon :)
Hey guys! Today I have a cool Half Moon color combo. I wanted to try something a little more wintry to match the cold weather we've been having, even though it should be spring-y by now! I started with e.l.f. innocent for the base. Then, using hole punch reinforcers (my favorite trick!) I added Revlon Dressed to Kill on top. I used 3 coats and then peeled off the reinforcers to reveal the half moon look. Dressed to Kill is such a fun shade and I would totally wear it year-round, even though it's pretty dark.
Hey guys! Coming back with a really fun post this April :)
I was able to try out a full room makeover with new GE Reveal 75W halogen bulbs. At first, I didn't think that light bulbs could make a huge difference in a room (spoiler alert: I was wrong!). I chose my bedroom to makeover since our main piece of lighting is from our lamps.
Check out the before photo here:
I thought that I liked the lighting from those lamps before I tried anything different.
Then I swapped out for the GE Reveal bulbs and it really did improve the lighting in the room!
You can really tell how much brighter the room is. I found that these lights are a little softer than the previous photo. I also saw that the light spread further out in the room really nicely.
Before trying these, I didn't think it would make a difference but it really does!
