Day 3:YELLOW- Chanel Mimosa with Accent

Hi everyone! So it didn't take long for me to get behind but here it
is! Day three yellow with Chanel mimosa and Zoya Jules accent nail

I love yellow nails but Mimosa always gets a little thick on my nails
in order to be opaque. I know I've used this combo before, but I just love it.

Day 2: ORANGE- French Leopard Mani

Hi everyone! So it is day two of the 30 day challenge, and the color is orange! I used Essie Tart Deco for the French tip, Deborah Lippmann Girls Just Want to Have Fun for the leopard spots and OPI Extra-va-vaganza for the outlines. I think the leopard would have turned out better with a solid color instead of a glitter, but I still love this bright fun mani!

Day 1: RED- Nicole by OPI Keep It Real

Hi everyone! So today is day one of the 30 day challenge and the topic is red! I've used Nicole by OPI Keep It Real which I got in a mini set a while back.

This polish only took two coats and went on perfectly! It's on the lighter red side with some shimmer!

Can't wait for the rest of this challenge!

Purple on Purple Mani

Hi everyone! Today I have a funky French mani using two of my favorite colors- OPI Do You Lilac It and Pamplona Purple.

I switched colors from each hand and all day I kept putting my hands together to look at the combination. I even realized my nails matched my phone perfectly!

So simple, but definitely not your average mani!

Sneak Peek of Demi Lovato's New song ft. Missy Elliot and Timbaland

After Demi Lovato's most recent single, Skyscraper she now turns the tables completely with this club-worth hit 'All Night Long.' This is the kind of song I want to listen to getting ready in the morning to pump myself up! She sticks to the pop vibe, but you can sense the Timbaland influence on this track.

Listen here:

Essie Trophy Wife + Deborah Lippmann Across The Universe Diagonal Mani

Hi everyone! Today I have Essie Trophy Wife with Deborah Lippmann Across the Universe for a diagonal mani! I just used scotch tape for the diagonal and this combo is great for fall. I feel like Across the Universe always reminds me of mermaids :)

NYFW 2011 Nail Trends!

Hi everyone!

Sorry for being a bit MIA, but I'm back! I know Fashion Week isn't technically over until the 15th, but I couldn't wait! There are SO many gorgeous and fun nail trends happening I had to post!

First, a Butter London mani by the one and only Nonie Creme. This mani comes from the Yizgal Arzouel Cute 25 show and I just love this custom Ombre mani! (Photo Credit from Cosmo)

Next, a jockey-inspired mani at the Ruffian show. I especially like that both hands are different in this mani. (Photo Credit from Refinery29)

Another gorgeous bright mani from the Nicole Miller Show, using CND polishes! I love that the bright colors go so well with the bright colorblocked dresses! (Photo Credit from The Cut Blog)
Next we have a deep purple mani seen in the Prabal Gurung show! Gorgeous, and I love the contrast with the light shorts! (Photo credit The Cut Blog)
My favorite, from the Jen Kao show, deep blue ombre mani by CND. Apparently they use an airbrush tool for the effect! (Photo credit Glamour)

An interesting take, the 'lucite' mani from the Joy Cioci show. Anyone else think this model looks like January Jones? (Photo from Glamour)

Using a hot-orange shade, Jason Wu's show had models wearing OPI Monsooner or Later!(Photo credit The Cut Blog)

And finally, some shimmery metals! Subtle and girly, these silver nails were found on the Lela Rose models! (Photo credit The Cut Blog)

What do you think of all the NYFW nail trends? What's your favorite!

Leopard Mani

Hi everyone! Today I have a great nail art mani, and I used such a fun popular trend-leopard print!

I started with OPI Nail Envy and then for the base color, OPI Stranger Tides. The spots were made with Zoya Yara. The outlines were made with OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow. I thought this mani was surprisingly easy and there are so many combinations with different color schemes.

Have you ever tried a leopard mani?

My Take On ($1 find) Nabi Cinnamon

Today I have a great metallic pink shade from Nabi. While I was out of town for the holiday weekend, I snagged a few shades for just a $1 each!

Cinnamon went on beautifully, and I only needed two coats. I topped it with Seche Vite and I just love this color!

I would recommend these cheap polishes if you can find them near you!

My First Ginger and Liz!

Hi everyone! Today I have my first Ginger and Liz polishes. I was lucky enough to try these from a good friend! I used Get my Groove Back and Blowin Money Fast.

I loved these two colors together, as the gold tone brought out the gold hues in Blowin Money Fast.

Application was great, and I only needed two coats. The gold tones didn't come out in the photos as much as I'd hoped, but the two shades look great together.

Do you like this combo?

Half Moon with OPI Red Shatter and Rally Pretty Pink

Happy Friday everyone! Today I have a fun half moon mani. I've found the best way to do a half moon is using the hole punch reinforcer stickers. I first used two coats of Rally Pretty Pink. Then I place the sticker in the center of the nail and went over the pink with red shatter. I finished it off with Seche Vite!

This mani is surprisingly easy and the combinations are endless! I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend, I'll be out of town so look out for my next post on Tuesday!
