My Take On: Sally Hansen Crackle Antiqued Gold

Hey guys!

Last night I was anxious to try Sally Hansen Crackle in Antiqued Gold which I've had for a few weeks now. I'd seen it in several other blog posts and it did not look appealing to me at all. It looked chunky and had barely any "crackle" to it.

I started with two coats of Butter London Victoriana, a gorgeous blue with gold/silver flecks in it. Based on what I had seen on other blogs, I went with just one, very thin coat of Antiqued Gold and no top coat.

Every minute I have this on, I love it more and more. Although it might not be as "shatter-y" as OPI's Shatter, it has a similar effect and is not as startling to see to anyone who is not in on the trend.

What do you think of Sally Hansen's Crackle? Will you be trying it anytime soon?

  2. I really like the Sally Hansen Crackle. I bought Antiqued Gold as well and blogged about it last week over Essie Turquoise and Caicos. I think it's great! Although I am looking forward to seeing how the new China Glaze Crackle's will compare this summer!
