My Take On: Baby Foot Exfoliant Foot Peel

Hi everyone! Today I have an awesome review of a product I would definitely recommend, and could make a great holiday gift too! Baby Foot is a foot exfoliant peel that removes dead skin for gorgeous looking feet.

One tip I have is to make sure you soak your feet before you use this and for several days after to get maximum results. I typically only take showers and adding in the foot soak definitely helped remove dead skin! My feet weren't really rough to start but I did get some nice new baby skin afterwards.

My Take On: China Glaze Wood You Wanna? From The Great Outdoors

Hey everyone! Just in time for fall, I've been trying out some of the polishes from China Glaze's The Great Outdoors collection! I started off with Wood You Wanna? which is a metallic brown shade with hints of silver. I'm always looking for modern neutrals and I can definitely see myself sporting this throughout the season! Application was great, and I probably could get away with just 1 coat!

My Take On: Gridlock Lacquer Grape Expectations

Hey everyone! Today I have a fun purple shade to share from Gridlock Lacquer. Grape Expectations is from their Niagara Falls collection and is a bright purple metallic shade. It applied pretty nicely but required a couple of coats and even with top coat it's a little bumpy. I think this shade is also super fun for nail art!

Grey + Neon Nail Art

Hey guys! Sorry for the hiatus on the blog. I've been traveling some for work and it's been keeping me away from posting :(. But now I'm back! I started off with this great Faby grey creme polish in Metropolis. This one is pretty opaque to start. Then I added on some neon nail art with some tools from Born Pretty Store! I love the combination of the neutral and neon so this is obviously one of my favorite looks!

Summer Daisy Nail Art

Guys, it has been A WEEK. Clearly not just for me, as I feel like everyone around me has been feeling the same way. I'm also embarking on the glorious journey of moving over the next few weeks so I'm thanking 6-month ago me for backlogging some blog posts since my nails are for sure going to go downhill until the move is over. The good news is, we're totally redoing the office so I'm going to get some brand new space for blogging, including some awesome natural light. And I'm sure it will require some gratuitous desk accessories. Now, onto today's post! I started out with China Glaze Shore Enuff as a base. It's surprisingly transparent so it takes a few coats to look perfect. Using a big dotting tool I added the white petals and accent dots. Then I just went back through with the Pure Ice yellow to add the centers! I think these sort of look like eggs :/ but altogether they look fun and summery. And prepare yourself for all of my most summery looks in the next few weeks before I get all wrapped up in my fall/winter darks (can't wait!)

Song I'm jamming to:

Kendra Scott x Kansas City Blogger Event Recap!

Hi everyone! Last week I was able to attend an awesome KC blogger event with newly relaunched The Blog Guild! Formerly known as KC Blogger Meetup, The Blog Guild will help connect bloggers and help them collaborate! Kendra Scott recently opened up at the Plaza and it was the perfect venue for the launch event. Bloggers were treated with drinks, treats and some other fun activities like a braid bar from Parlor on the plaza or fun photobooth props! They also hosted giveaways and a discount on the products. I ended up with some gorgeous new Sky earrings in White Howlite, a white and black marble color. Here's a few photos from the event!

Summer Nail Art: Watermelons!

Hey guys-

Today I have some bright and fun nail art to share. I started off with two coats of JS Lemoncello as a base. I added watermelons using China Glaze Don't Mesa with my Heart (pink) and China Glaze Shore Enuff (Green). I used Essie Licorice for the seeds on these tiny watermelons! I stared the watermelons by crating the pink portion first. This green can be a little translucent so I wanted that to go on top. Then I added Shore Enuff as the Watermelon rind using a thin nail art brush. Then, with the smallest dotting tool I own, I added the seeds. Plus top coat and ta-da! I love this look and would definitely replicate with other fun summer fruit!
