Pink, White and Blue Mani Easy Nail Art

Hi guys! Today I have some really easy nail art to share! I started with Ciate Offshore for the base on each nail. On my pinky and middle finger, I added dots with China Glaze Dune Our Thing (fuschia shade). On My ring finger and thumb got some white dots from FingerPaints Paper Mache, and my thumb and middle finger got some aqua dots from Hard Candy Frenzy. Finally, I added some sparkle with China Glaze Your Present Awaits on my pointer finger. This mani altogether looks complicated but it's so easy! Just a dotting tool and nail art brush and you're done!

Smiling Bright with DenTek!

Hey guys! Today I have some awesome products from my friends at DenTek! As a dentist friend once told me, not flossing is like standing with your arms by your sides and having someone throw food at you! I am a fan of handheld flossers versus traditional floss, and so when I received these products from DenTek I was super pumped (yes, for floss!!).

First I tried out their Fresh White Floss Picks- that floss AND Whiten in one. They are excellent at getting tough food out with the added bonus of whitening.

I also tried out their Instant Pain Relief for Toothaches. I'm saving these int he event that I need one, but it's great to know that they are so handy and mess-free!

This was a product I actually have tried on my own, but I love keeping the floss picks + case in my purse for a *flossing emergency* :)

Lastly I tried out their Easy Brush cleaners. Also great to keep on hand when traveling to freshen you up!

If you've never tried these DenTek products, I would highly recommend them!

Beauty Brands Kansas City Grand Opening Event

Hey everyone! I have such a fun and exciting post to share today. Beauty Brands has been my go to since I've lived in Kansas City. They've always had a great selection of nail polish and products as well as beauty products, not to mention their yearly Liter Sale! So when the location on the Plaza was under construction, I was super curious to see what they would reveal. I was lucky enough this weekend to get a special tour of the new location and get a couple of awesome bonuses too :)

First of all, the logo and branding is redesigned with a new, modern look. From the storefront to the shopping bags, everything looks great!

They took over the store next door and expanded their salon services, offering many new spa services and a whole new blowout bar!

The retail section is completely redone and organized by type, with the addition of fragrance! They have a lot of exclusive brands that are typically only found at salons. One brand I was really interested in was KCO Colors, created by Beauty Brands. It's awesome to see and support a local brand making great produts.

I ended my tour with a complimentary blowout (thanks Jennifer!) and a goody bag complete with beauty products I was drooling over. Thanks again to the Beauty Brands team for letting me enjoy this special tour, and I encourage all of my KC readers to go check out the new location!

China Glaze Electric Nights: Plur-ple and Can I Get An Untz Untz

Hey guys! Another look today from China Glaze's Electric Nights. I started with China Glaze Plur-ple, a bright, vibrant purple creme polish. I topped it off with Can I Get An Untz Untz, a clear polish with two sizes of green glitter, and a dark purple glitter. This was a fun bright look that I think was really eye-catching!

China Glaze Electric Nights: Glow With The Flow + Point Me To The Party

Hey guys! This week I'll be sharing my reviews of the China Glaze Electric Nights collection, new for Summer 2015! I started out with Glow With The Flow, a vibrant hot pink, and Point Me To The Party, a clear polish with green, pink, orange and purple microglitter. I used two coats of GWTF first, and finished off with a diagonal design of PMTTP! I really love this combo, and it's so bright and fun for summer!

My Take On: Ciate Offshore

Hi guys! With summer just around the corner I am starting to grab all of my fun, bright summer shades! Today I have Ciate Offshore, a nice bright royal blue. It applied really nicely, only needing 2 coats to be completely opaque. I can't wait to use this for some nail art!!

Review: Norvell DWTS Airbrush Tan

Hi guys! If you've checked out many of my blog posts, you already know I'm devastatingly pale. I swear I have tried every self-tanner on the planet! A few times I have splurged a bit more and gone for a real air-brush tan. And I mean the type where someone uses an airbrush gun on your skin precisely, not a machine that does it. So far, this is the only way I've gotten a desirable outcome. I received Norvell's Airbrush Tan Spray from their Dancing With The Stars line and I was a bit nervous to try a spray vs. many of the lotions and cremes I've tried before. After exfoliating in the shower, I hopped back in, used the supplied nose filters, and got started. It was surprisingly easy to use, and the smell was much more of a natural scent, not too flavored like fake vanilla or coconut. The best part was, this dried instantly! For areas of mine that typically have issues like knees and feet, I used my hands to rub in the spray to avoid streaks.

Normally I avoid self-tanning because it makes me so hot to have a thick lotion on all of my body, but this was not the case. I went about my day as normal and could instantly see results. By the next morning my skin was even darker, and as the directions stated, the initial bronze washed off in the shower, but a distinct tan stayed on my skin for several days. I'd definitely recommend this! You can check out these products here: www.NorvellSunless.com/dwts
